1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

1969 FJ40 Land Cruiser in Sea Foam with original patina. V8 with 1974 Ford 50 Chevy 454 big block engine installed in 1990.

Looking for the right purchaser with the time, resources and desire to return her to her original glory.

Purchased in 2021. Single owner prior to that purchase.

Selling AS-IS, with all faults and without any representations or warranties regarding the vehicle's condition or performance.

Must be able to pick up the truck in San Diego.

Truck has a ton of potential but definitely still needs some TLC and I just don't have the time or desire to put more money into it.

Not looking to recoup money that I've put into the truck, just what I paid for it.

The following is some of the more extensive work I've done to it since purchasing: -replaced drive train fluid -replaced running boards -replaced tie rods -front axle rebuild -transfer case rebuild -front suspension -new clutch -new disc brakes -replace carburetor -replace alternator

Exterior condition is reflective of the vintage of the car. Small but minor areas of rust. Original sea foam patina. Door handles are functional but currently only manually lock from the inside and will need to be fixed if this will be an every day driver.

Seats have some wear and tear. Purchaser will likely want to remove the original roof liner fabric which has degraded over time.
