A highly desirable and rarely seen special order long wheelbase 1969 Porsche 911T Soft Window Targa. A limited number of 1969 911T Soft Window Targas were built, making the surviving examples exceptionally rare. Presented in the classic color combination of Light Ivory over Black upholstery, this example retains its matching engine and transmission per the Porsche Kardex (build sheet).

Factory options and special equipment include:

9356 Soft Window Targa
9107 Phoenix 165HR15 tires
9239 Black suitcase with leather tie-down straps for rear seat
9325 Blaupunkt Radio
9316 Targa tonneau cover
9403 Special paint designation
9036 Five-speed manual transmission
9133 Ignition system specification
9343 Halogen headlights with fog lights
0001 Factory internal build specification note
0002 Administrative registration notation

The paintwork is in excellent condition throughout, with great gaps and panel alignment. The interior is in beautiful condition, the front seats and headrests have been reupholstered, and it features a leather-wrapped VDM steering wheel with a deluxe butterfly horn ring, VDO instrumentation, an Europa AM/FM radio, and a map light. The 15 x 6 anodized Fuchs alloy wheels are fitted with Pirelli Cinturato P4 195/65 HR15 tires. The undercarriage is solid and rust-free.

Originally handled by Raffay & Co. in Hamburg, Germany, it was delivered new to the first owner, Carl Kaufmann. The 911T remained in Germany under several custodians who preserved and maintained the 911. The current owner imported the 911 to California in 2023. In January 2019, K & H European Auto Upholstery upholstered the front seats and replaced the B-pillar covers, door panels, basket weave dash insert, quarter panels, and garnish rails. The headrests were added in October 2024. On July 27, 2023, C&F Automotive performed a comprehensive brake and suspension overhaul, including replacement of front struts, ball joints, and the braking components, including the brake pads, rotors, calipers, and brake lines, along with an upgrade to 911SC specification brakes. In August 2024, Roccos Auto Tech installed a Europa AM/FM radio with Bluetooth and new speakers. Most recently, on August 30, 2025, at 83,564 miles, European Collectibles completed a major engine-out service. Work included replacing the pulley seal, main seal, hot-air hoses, and valve cover gaskets. The fuel pump and filter were replaced, along with spark plugs, ignition points, the drive belt, and the air filter. The CV axles and the starter were also replaced. The 901 gearbox was serviced, and a new clutch assembly was installed. The brake fluid was flushed, and an oil and filter service was completed.

Mechanically, power is supplied by the matching 2.0-liter flat-six engine producing 110 horsepower, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission with four-wheel disc brakes. Offered with its owners manual, Porsche Kardex, Porsche Production Specifications sheet, original German registration and service records. A rare opportunity to acquire a numbers-matching 911T Soft Window Targa, one of the most distinctive and sought-after early open 911s.
