Classic Car Overview

Body off frame restored. 2024 Toronto Motorama and Pontiac Nationals award winner. VIN # matching motor and trans. Pontiac Historical documented and has original build sheet. Sold new at Miller Pontiac, Tulsa Oklahoma. EXTERIOR: The fit and finish is better than it was when it was new! This GTO is laser beam straight, the gaps are precise and there is no rust or damage. The front rubber bumper fits right and has no damage. The original Mayfair Maize paint is buffed and polished like glass. All the stainless trim is polished like chrome. The emblems and rear bumper look like new. It has an optional remote mirror. The weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. The windshield and rear window are new. The grills and taillights are excellent. Its sitting on a restored set of poverty wheels with mint condition caps, theyre wrapped in reproduction Wide Oval redline tires. INTERIOR: Im sitting in the car, and it looks like new from carpet to headliner. Down on the floor is new carpet, reproduction mats, center console and shifter ball. It has its complete set of original seatbelts. The bucket seats have been reupholstered, the chrome seat trim and plastic backs are new. The door panels, armrests, window cranks and handles have been replaced. Up above is a new headliner, matching visors, and rearview mirror. In front of me is a new reproduction dash pad, chrome bezels with wood grain. It has an optional rally clock; the original AM radio is still in place. It also has a deluxe steering wheel. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, this looks like it just rolled off the assembly line! It is restored and highly detailed. At the heart of it is its original VIN # matching 400. It was rebuilt about 1,200 miles ago. All stock manifolds, chrome valve covers and air cleaner. It has factory air conditioning that was rebuilt. It also features power steering and power brakes with a cadmium plated booster. All the components look new like the alternator, wiper motor, firewall components, radiator, shroud, fan etc. The squirters are hooked up, it has reproduction spring clamp battery cables. All the finishes are neatly painted with a smooth finish. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Outstanding! Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as slick as the car, really! Inside is pristine metal with a very neatly applied spatter finish. It has reproduction decal, mat and weatherstrip. It even has a fifth matching spare. The rim is painted and has a reproduction tire. Its complete with a restored jack. UNDERSIDE: It was a body off frame restoration, under this car looks like new! The front end steering and suspension looks like its been all rebuilt. In back the bushings and springs were replaced and it has been upgraded with gas shocks. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. All new factory exhaust including the resonators in the tailpipes. It has disc brakes up front, drum in the rear and the e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, the starter looks new. The Turbo 400 automatic is VIN number matching and the 1969 tag is still riveted to the side of it. The driveshaft is rebuilt and has its original 10 bolt rear end. The floors and frame are smooth clean metal neatly painted a satin black. SERVICE: We inspect each of our cars and service them. On this GTO we replaced the speedometer gear housing because of a leak, we tightened and adjusted the shifter, adjusted the reverse light switch, replaced the wiper blades, fixed the blower, replaced the sending unit for the oil pressure gauge, serviced the air conditioning, replaced the heater control valve, adjusted the exhaust because of a rattle, fixed a rear tail light, adjusted the e-brake and serviced the calipers. Its nice enough to park in your living room but I hope you drive it! Its nicely optioned and will be a pure pleasure to cruise!
