Classic Car Overview

                                                 1969 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE

                                         RESTORED PRO-TOURING RESTO-MOD GOAT

                                                           VIN:  2426798117342

Summary Story:

This amazing GTO was an original 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible 4 speed as ordered from the factory in 1968, delivered new in November 1968 (see PHS documentation). I purchased the car on EBay of all places 10 years ago. Over the past 10 years I have been managing a complete restoration of the car, which is now complete.

This car needs nothing. It was engineered as a car you can drive, take on road trips and also share with others at car shows. Everywhere you go people look this car will turn heads and is a conversation piece every time you park it.

This GTO was designed and engineered as a touring resto-mod car, all stock on the outside with a modern day, but year correct engine, drive train, rear, and interior creature comforts including a/c stereo and digital dash gauges.

The master builders at Maryland Performance Center in Frederick MD built the engine Est. 40 years ago. The engine is built on a year/period correct 1969 Pontiac 455 block and replaced the original 400 engine when it expired. The 4-speed transmission was replaced with a 5-speed Richmond transmission and is a wonderful touring car now.
