Classic Car Overview
Auto was sold new in December 1968 at Neil Pontiac in High Point, NC. I have had the pleasure to drive it since 1995, but my history with this Grand Prix dates to high school. During my early years, I use to service and clean this Poncho at my familys service station. I believe it is as original as you will find and is in very good condition. Has some patina under the hood and on the wheels. No rust, no leaks. Left rear quarter panel has some body filler. Always garage inside and covered. Call for an honest description of the vehicle.
Full Service and many replaced parts to OEM specifications including:
· All fluids changed. Antifreeze, power steering fluid, brake fluid, engine oil, transmission oil, rear differential fluid, front wheel bearing packed.
· Brake master cylinder and booster
· Calipers and pads
· Brake lines
· Rear wheel cylinders
· Original Rochester carbonator rebuilt
· Fuel pump and fuel lines
· Gas tank professionally cleaned and new fuel pickup
· Gas tank insulation mat
· Tires BF Goodrich Radial T/A white letters
· Front shocks
· Rear pneumatic load leveling shocks Superlift shock absorber
· Complete exhaust system
· Spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor button, points and condenser, ignition coil
· Air conditioner recharged and serviced
· All interior and exterior lights, interior clock, radio, and cigarette lighter work.
Less than 10% of 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix had the SJ option. Which included:
· Special lamp group
· 428 cu. in. engine
· Rally gauge cluster and clock
· Power disk brakes, front
· Automatic level control
· Special high-performance suspension
