Classic Car Overview

Family owned since 1970.
Our Father worked at a bank in Denver, CO in 1969. This car was purchased brand new from a local dealership and financed through his bank then driven to Chicago. Within a few months, the owner stopped payments and Dad was sent to pick up the car. He fell in love with it and purchased it from the bank. The family moved 60 miles North to Fort Collins, CO and this car became Dad's daily driver to and from the bank (about 1.5 miles) and once a month to Cheyenne for "cheap gas" he said but, we figure he just wanted to get out of the house and drive. In the late 80's Dad was driving up by the reservoir and some guy with a boat trailer tried passing him and drove him off the road. A boulder stopped Dad from going down the hill into the water so the right front was damaged. The front was repaired and the right side was repainted but, there has always been a bit of a gap around the hood and the front clip. Around 2003 this car was "garaged" and stayed that way until about 2021. (almost 18 years) After Dad passed, we took the car out of storage and to a couple different mechanics over the next 4 years and got it running pretty good. This car just glides down the road and is an absolute pleasure to drive. The engine runs good but still needs some love to be great. We have however finally realized we are just not car people and will never finish this car so we want it to go to someone who will have the passion to get it done and take good care of it.
