Classic Car Overview

This was body off frame, rotisserie restored, we have a photo album of the process. Very desirable air conditioned, 4-speed convertible with a 400 motor. EXTERIOR: The body is really straight and fits right. No rust or damage. It has the dual scooped hood with a hood tachometer. I think the original Verdoro Green color was tweaked, its beautiful. Its polished smooth and glossy. The front end rubber filler and bumper fit real nice. The chrome and trim look new. The windshield was replaced. The white power top is new, painted frame and new weather strips. The rally ll wheels were repainted and got new trim, correct lug nuts and BFG tires. Weather strips and window seals were replaced. INTERIOR: New pearl white looks great against the rich green paint. The door panels, armrests, upholstery, headrests and visors were all replaced and theyre all the same color. Firebird was a little fancier with wood grain instrument panel, all in good shape. This has the factory gauge cluster, 160 mph speedometer and optional clock. The vents and heater control panel look real nice. It has an original AM/FM radio. The dash pad is new and the metal trim is painted slick. The carpet was replaced and has reproduction mats. Factory console has walnut trim and theres a walnut shift knob on the 4-speed. Cushions were replaced in the seats. It has a complete set of original seatbelts. New deluxe wheel on a tilt column. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 400-350 hp engine restored to stock specs. It even has a restored quadrajet carburetor on top. Stock manifolds, new chrome air cleaner lid and valve covers. It does have factory air conditioning; I can see some new parts including a compressor but it does still need to be serviced. It also features power steering and power brakes; the booster is cadmium plated. All the components are clean and proper. The squirters are hooked up, it has correct radiator cap and shroud, it has a Delco battery topper with spring clamp cables. Wires and hoses are run neatly. All the metal surfaces are painted very neatly, it has hood insulation. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the lid and the jamb were painted slick. Inside is solid with spatter paint. The stickers, weatherstrip, well liner and mat were replaced. It has the original type collapsible spare and jack assembly. UNDERSIDE: All the components were removed and it was literally flipped on a rotisserie. The floors, braces, rockers are all rock solid metal, they were prepped and sprayed with a black chip guard. The subframe was reinstalled the front end steering and suspension was gone through. It as frame connectors that tie the front to the back to prevent twisting. In back the springs, bushings and shocks were replaced. It has a dual exhaust with stainless steel Pypes mufflers. The fuel system was replaced including the tank and fuel lines. The brakes were rebuilt; the lines, hoses and the e-brake cables were replaced. It has disc in front. Looking up at the motor it is clean, there are a few dents in the oil pan. It has a new fuel pump and starter. Correct Muncie 4-speed trans. U-joints were replaced. 12 bolt rear end with Sure Grip gears. SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the starter repaired the reverse lights the horns headlights turn signals repaired the wiper motor replaced it replace the hood springs reattached quarter window trim the AC needs to be serviced I think the colors are unique and stunning. This is a fresh restoration on a very good looking car with desirable features! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the cars condition in detail. These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Air conditioning Power steering Power disc brakes Hood tachometer Factory gauges Am-Fm radio Clock Deluxe wheel Tilt column Console Power top Rally ll wheels Shop manuals
