1969 Plymouth Roadrunner

This 1969 Performance Red Plymouth Road Runner Is one of just 422 A12 Road Runner 4 speed hardtops produced in 69. These A12 Cars were some of the fastest Muscle cars to come out of the sixties. A12s were essentially factory-built drags cars for the street or strip. Featuring a fiberglass lift off hood with huge scoop held in place with 4 hood pins with no hinges or latch mechanism, 440 CI V-8 with three Holley 2-barrel carburetors flowing 1350 CFM and mounted on a Edelbrock Aluminum intake manifold and dual point distributor. These additions helped the 440 produce 390 HP and 490 LB-FT of torque Matching the 426 hemi in torque output. These cars in good running condition would keep up with a Hemi for half the cost. Also, part of the Package was Chryslers A833 4-speed Hemi transmission and Heavy-Duty Dana 60 Sure-Grip Axle, Adding to the street racer look was the special 15 Inch Black wheels with G70-15 tires and chrome lug nuts, Hood Blackout with 6-BBL call on the side of the scoop.
