Ultra-Rare 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Hemi Hardtop

The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Hemi 2 Door Hardtop with Schorch Red exterior paint, black racing stipes plus a Pewter and Black vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 426 cid Hemi V-8 engine under the hood that’s paired to a 4-speed manual transmission, power steering, manual brakes, and so much more.  This rare and highly desirable classic is also very original throughout as well and really turns heads in person.

Extensive Documentation on Late 90’s Restoration 

This 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Hardtop originally sold in Los Angeles, California as an authentic Hemi example in an ultra-rare color combination of Schorch Red with black stripes and a Pewter interior.  We were informed that the current 426 Hemi is not original to this classic and was swapped out during a complete, multi-year restoration effort back in 1998 and 1999.  The current owner took possession in 2000 and has meticulously cared for this rare classic muscle car since that time.  It shows excellent in person with immaculate body lines, show quality paint, and a beautiful original interior.

In terms of performance, this 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Hemi starts easily and delivers excellent power to the rear wheels.  A satisfying growl comes from the powerful Hemi motor and the highly correct engine compartment borders on new in appearance throughout.  This classic muscle car has tremendous acceleration, nice handling, and sufficient stopping power, making it a true joy to drive and a highly desirable example for a number of reasons.  This classic needs nothing to be driven, shown, and enjoyed right away.

A closer inspection of this 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Hardtop reveals a tremendous exterior with professional paint in the correct factory colors, excellent chrome all the way around, and correct factory wheels with Plymouth center caps.  The overall appearance is outstanding without any visible flaws.  Likewise, the Pewter factory interior really stands out in person since this classic has been restored at such incredible levels.  Everything is correct in appearance with only the slightest of imperfection to be found inside or out.  Most would consider this a very high end #2 classic.
