Classic Car Overview

This real Road Runner has been rotisserie restored. The bottom is just as pretty as the top. It has its original fender tag which indicates the rare springtime only special Rallye green color. EXTERIOR: The body is straight, I dont see any damage or rust. It is repainted its original Rallye green color. The finish is smooth and glossy. It also has the correct reflective dual side stripes and the blacked out hood patches. Up front the bumper is rechromed, the grill is good original. New correct antenna, remote mirror and door handles. In back the tail lights and bumper look new. The stainless trim is straight and shiny. The vinyl top has been replaced. New chrome Magnum 500 wheels with the radial red line tires really look sharp. Jambs are painted real nice, weatherstrips were replaced. INTERIOR: Somewhat rare and very desirable bucket seats with a console, typically Road Runners are bench seats. The cushions were replaced, new upholstery. The door panels were replaced. The whole dash area is excellent, nothings cut or broken. It has a factory tachometer and the factory AM radio. The interior lights work. New carpet, it has a complete set of original seatbelts. The console is good original condition. The headliner was replaced. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correct 1969 383 motor runs real strong. It has all stock manifolds, valve covers, carburetor, air cleaner. It does have an upgraded aluminum radiator. Of course it has a working beep beep Road Runner horn. The battery is bolted down properly, squirters are hooked up, alternator looks new. It has optional power steering. The engine bay is all clean metal painted Rallye green. The original fender tag is attached, the vin number on the core support matches the car. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Perfectly clean, new trunk floor. The quarter panels look to be original, I dont see any splices. The inside of the trunk is all painted Rallye green. The jack assembly has been restored. The spare has a never been used tire. New trunk mat, weatherstrip and rear seat divider. It has a trunk light. UNDERSIDE: It was flipped on a rotisserie, the whole underbody of the car was stripped, prepped and painted Rallye green. All clean, smooth metal. The frame rails, rockers, floor pans and even behind the rear tires is all clean. It has a new correct dual exhaust system with the flared chrome tips. The brakes have been completely rebuilt, new brake lines, hoses and e-brake assembly is hooked up. The suspension is completely restored and detailed. New bushings, ball joints, shocks, steering components. The fuel system has been replaced including the tank, straps, sending unit and lines. Looking up at the motor it is spotless. The casting codes and dates are correct, dated 1969. The starter is rebuilt. It has correct 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission. U-joints were replaced. It has an 8 3/4 rear end. This is a good looking Road Runner with rare and desirable color. Not too many rotisserie restored cars in this price range! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the cars condition in detail. These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Power steering Bucket seats Console Tachometer Magnum 500 wheels Radial redlines Side stripes Hood stripes Remote mirror
