Classic Car Overview

This 1969 Road Runner Coupe is a low option high performance muscle car that was built in Los Angeles, California. Coupes from this year are not a frequent sight and this one wears the Rallye Green paint that was released mid-year and started the performance color trend. This specimen has the original numbers matching drive train and has been restored to assembly line condition. Every nut, bolt and screw has been accurately detailed to create a time capsule with Inspection Marks, part number stamps and even the designs of the bolt heads are as installed by the factory. Accuracy like this is not seen outside of a museum and has never gotten picked apart at a car show. The stack of trophies presented to this car has been immense and you will be able to begin creating your own mound. It still has its 335 hp, 383 4 bbl engine and 4-speed along with points and a correct Carter AVS. Date coded parts were used wherever possible and has a great deal of survivor and NOS parts. Even the brake drums and wheel cylinders are from 1969. Left turn lug nuts on the drivers side. The theme followed while restoring this car was How perfect can we make it ? Rolling on Red Line tires and wearing Organisol Paint on the hood give the finishing touch to the metallic paint on a sunny day and says Look at me when parked in the sun and she does get the looks. A bench seat allows your date to sit next to you for the perfect visual statement when you arrive and it will be your secret that the car is what caught their attention. The list of details can fill another page including the correct blow through of paint and a primer colored undercarriage. Black items were powder coated to give a long lasting finish for driving. Find out why Motor Trend named this car its 1969 Car of the year . Beep, Beep!
