Classic Car Overview

Stunning! This is a factory born GTX, 4-speed, Trac Pac car. It also has rare factory colors. 59,986 original miles. We have owner history, there was one owner from 1973-2001. It was parked in hibernation from 1979-2001 in his mothers garage. We acquired it from a high end muscle car collection. EXTERIOR: It has a great 1st impression! The body is straight and fits precisely. I dont see any rust or damage. The body was sandblasted to bare metal and painted in 2014. It is repainted its original Scorch Red color. It has a glass finish but there are small bubbles in the paint. The vinyl top looks new. All the stainless trim around the top and windows is polished like chrome. The grill and bumper look like new. The optional fender mounted turn signals, deluxe mirrors and door handles are excellent. Original antenna is good. Taillights, tail panel, and rear bumper are mint. Door jambs are painted really nice; weatherstrips were replaced. Windshield was replaced. Reproduction red line tires still have the nubs on the tread. New sparkling chrome Magnum 500 wheels. INTERIOR: Just as impressive inside. Factory born Pewter interior looks amazing against the red. Its been reupholstered. It has bucket seats with the optional buddy cushion armrest. New matching door panels. The GTX was upper scale and came with wood grain accents. The carpets were replaced, it has the correct 4-speed with a new shifter ball. The optional deluxe wheel was professionally restored. The dash pad is new. The instrument panel is in very nice shape, not cut or broken. It has a factory in dash tachometer. The original AM radio has been rebuilt with modern internals and has an auxiliary plug. New glovebox liner with an owners manual. Complete set of original seatbelts. The headliner fits tight as a drum. The dome light works, visors and mirror look new. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin # matching 440-375 hp Super Commando. It sounds amazing, perfect muscle car idle. The engine was rebuilt, its all stock in appearance. The manifolds, valve covers, and air cleaner are correct. Plug wires are run properly, alternator looks new, battery is properly secured, master cylinder looks new. Correct Mopar radiator with the correct shroud. The washer bottle is hooked up, horns work. The engine bay is all clean metal painted red. It has its original fender tag and the Vin number on the core support matches the car. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean, all metal trunk compartment painted gloss red. New mat and weatherstrip. It also has a matching reproduction red line tire on a painted rim. Detailed jack assembly. UNDERSIDE: The steering and suspension has been gone through. Drum brakes at all 4 wheels are functioning properly, the e-brake assembly is hooked up. Great sounding dual exhaust with crossover pipe, Flow Pro mufflers and the correct chrome tips. Looking up at the motor its just about spotless, the starter looks new. The Vin number down by the oil pan matches the car, the casting codes are correct. It also has a Vin number matched 4-speed transmission. In back it has its original Dana 60 heavy duty rear end with 3.54 Sure Grip gears. The floor pans, frame rails and rockers are all solid metal. Theyve been prepped and painted black. Underneath this car looks very nice. I love this car. It stands out from the others, the colors and features are awesome. I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the cars condition in detail. These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Track pak 3.54 Dana Rear Bucket seats Buddy armrest Factory tachometer Light group Remote mirror Sport wheel Magnum wheels Redline tires
