Classic Car Overview
1969 Mercedes-Benz 280S $25,500
This car was purchased by Geo. C. Pardee through the European Import Program in 1969. He sold it to his business partner, Darrell Jordan and his wife, Lois in 1972. I purchased the car from my neighbor, Darrell, in 2010 after he and his wife suffered from some medical problems. The car has never been driven in ice or snow and only once Darrell had to drive it on gravel for a few blocks because he got "stuck in a funeral procession." All 3 owners have loved this car and only used it as a "Sunday, summer driver" and never a daily driver. It has been garaged 100% of the time. Very minor cosmetic imperfections and not a speck of rust. Nothing has been altered or changed. It's as original as it gets. I have all records from March of 1972 and also have all the original pamphlets, books, keys etc. This car is really special. I'm selling it because when I bought it my husband and I had a 4 car garage. I am no longer married and no longer have a 4 car garage and am planning ahead for a move, so I'm letting it go to someone who can enjoy it more! I store it off-site every fall-Spring and have my master Mercedes mechanic give it the Spring thumbs up. DETAILS BELOW:
