Classic Car Overview
1969 Jeep Commando $15,500
My name is Hank. I'm a 1969 Jeep Jeepster Commando Hard Top. My dad has kept me garaged for the last seven years. Estimated 1000 miles on a rebuilt original style engine. New tires. New battery. All lights: blinkers, breaks, brights... solid! Open title with current registration. Insured through Hagerty. I was just dialed in by Tom at Desert Motive in Scottsdale, AZ. Great guy! Dad wanted me to run a little leaner. So yeah, I have no problem idling at stop signs. I'm a three speed with a pretty nice box as long as you make sure my clutch is fully pressed. I have four wheel drive. Dad never used it. But Tom says it works. Mechanically EVERYTHING works. And FYI dad just had my gas tank sealed so I'm more garage friendly. Obviously I'm not original but my body... not a drop of rust... and the ladies... they like my style! My flaws? Driver side door doesn't lock. I don't have an emergency brake. Yes, the components are there, but the box hasn't been taken apart. The left blinker light on the odometer doesn't work. Also, the fuel gage is inconsistent. Dad might fix this. I rattle a bit. I'm a '69. If you want a puppy there's plenty around. If you're a haggler look elsewhere. What you see is what you get so serious inquires only. One email and then time for a phone call. After, bring cash and dad will take you for a spin. No cash, no test drives. No cash, no sell. No cash, no nothing. Cool? He's a cowboy.
