1969 Ford Torino

This 1969 Ford Torino Cobra, boasting a 428ci Cobra Jet V8 under the hood, became part of the second owners collection, who owned it for 47 years, in December 1976. A comprehensive refurbishment spanning several years was undertaken, commencing in 2015. This meticulous process involved a full body repaint, meticulous engine, transmission, and carburetor rebuilds, as well as the replacement of various interior, brake, suspension, smog system, and steering components.
Presented in a striking red hue complemented by black vinyl upholstery, this classic features a four-speed close-ratio Toploader manual transmission, a 3.50:1 Traction-Lok differential, ram air induction, power steering, power front disc brakes, vibrant body-color red 14in steel wheels adorned with gleaming hubcaps, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Stewart-Warner instrumentation, and an upgraded Philco push-button AM radio. Accompanying this Fairlane-based Cobra are documents including the initial purchase record, Deluxe Marti Report, manufacturers literature, engine build invoices, period advertisements, and a clean title.
The third and current owner replaced the starter and flex plate, performed a tune up and had a paint protecting ceramic coating applied.
