1969 Ford Mustang Fastback
Fastback Car for sale in North Ogden, Utah 84414
Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.
Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the '80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.
Classic Car Overview
Here's the story......purchased this and one other car for parts years ago. Decided to build this one and do a clone Boss 302 conversion. All new sheet metal throughout, including: Radiator core support, L & R - Front & Rear fender aprons, LH shock tower, complete floors, trunk drop offs, tail light panel and rear quarters (notice that the scoops have been removed as they weren't part of a Boss 302). 1998 Ford Red in color sprayed and clear coated (needs to be buffed and polished). Parts without paint (fenders, hood, lower front valance, rear valance).
The car includes many new parts including a complete custom interior: Red custom carpet, White front bucket seat covers, White deluxe door panels. A set of four brand new still in the box Magnum 500 wheels. New front bumper, NOS hood trim, window felt kit, & Headliner. There may be other parts associated with this car that I purchased which are part of this package but are not listed. Whatever I have in the garage that goes with this car, you will receive. Remember that I bought this as a parts car, so many items had been stripped and will need to be found by the new owner. New disc brake assemblies would be one example of this.
that I know I have for this car include: Rear seat trim panels,
original rear seat (not complete), instrument cluster and dash assembly,
rear window, RH door glass (1970), LH & RH rear windows, LH door
glass (original 1969), Front bucket seats, steering column.
car will come with a 351 Cleveland 4 bolt main block which has been
bored .20 over with a polished crankshaft all ready to be assembled with
your choice of internals. The car was originally an automatic (I don't
have the transmission). My plan was to convert it into a TKO-Tremec 5
speed. I do have the correct clutch/brake pedal assembly which is
included. The heads are open chambered and have been magnafluxed for
imperfections and are ready for valves & springs. The rear end is
still on the car, original from when I bought it.
Original VIN tag and body tag included (see pictures)
buyer assumes all responsibility for pick up and transportation. I will
not attempt to ship. Too many parts, too many complications. There is
no front suspension on the car at this time, only a small wheel attached
to a board which makes mobility possible.
$21,995 or best offer
I will only accept a bank cashiers check. No Paypal......too many fees.
the right person, this car has had the most difficult & expensive
work completed. For someone who has the time and resources, this will be
a great project. I would love to see it completed.
