1969 Ford Fairlane 500. $22500.00. Red Exterior with Black Interior Car originally equipped with a 302 and now has the Crites parts mounts stands for the 523. This sale also includes the Crites Howe aluminum radiator. The Rob MC fuel sending unit with return line provision and pressure regulator. It has the Boyd Butler suspension parts on the front end. Shelby drop camber correction and bump steer kit installed. New lower control arms with the bigger Granada disc brakes installed. New adjustable triangulated 4 link new nodular 9 Inch with nodular support Detroit locker with new Richmond 3.89 gears on the new 31 spline axles with new disc brakes on the rear. NIB Crites headers to fit a 385 block into this body. New Koni front shocks installed inside new big block road race springs. The car is set up for AC and I have both AC units for the SB and the BB to include condensers for both.. Custom subframe connectors welded in and also tied to the transmission stubs for better rigidity. Torque boxes have been rewelded solid for piece of mind.. Brakes fuel and trans lines need plumbed. Stock lines are still intact. It sits on new 15 inch rear tires and new 14 inch front tires and rims.. The engine was built by Rob McQuarie of Englewood Colorado in 2014. The bock is a D0VE C and the cast iron heads are a D0VE A. Block and heads have been decked for trueness. The iron heads have been ported and polished and the flow balanced between them all. After final assembly and rechecking the numbers the engine is a 523 cubic inch. The cam was broke in at the machine shop by Rob. The fluids changed and run again with the outer springs to ensure zero cam failure at startup. The engine has zero miles on it since it was started by the engine builder for cam break in. All internals are new. Pistons rods crank harmonic balancer double roller timing chain and the cam is a Lunati that was ground to Robs specs. The airgap intake is new. Rob recurved a Ford electronic distributor for this specific engine. The goal was 650 horse when this engine was built. The builder and I have no doubt it is in that ball park but limited funds prevent me from putting it on the dyno to prove it. I have an entire booklet on the motor that spell out all of the specs and parts the builder used. For serious inquiries I can email this to the prospective buyer for review. The C6 transmission is new. Case is milled for roller bearings and the larger servo. Clutches are kevlar. Torque converter is new from PTC. . Interior is fairly clean and well kept. It has a seat cover on the bench. Some of the stitching is gone but the material is still all intact.As with any old hot rod there are probly many more things I could describe about it but am hoping the pictures help me.
