Classic Car Overview

1969 Ford Truck, "Old Glory."
Camper Explorer Edition (see below)
390 V-8.

New plugs, points, starter, solenoid, radiator repair, new brakes/calipers, new tire rods, transmission repair, steering column and more (see receipt from Willard Automotive).

Spent $4k+ on repairs to make sure it was running properly, see video, taken 7/29/2022.

Does have a slow oil leak, likely coming from bottom oil pan as it does not smoke and there is NO oil on engine manifold.

Still, restoration project, or drive it as-is, it has character!

Runs very strong and has no rust on the body, but the front chrome bumper has rust.

I bought it with my dad 4 years ago with plans to restore, did some mechanical and he drove it around town but passed away a few months ago and I'm not looking to restore it, kind of a bad memory now...

Info from a Ford collector's website; "Ford launched its fifth-generation line of F-Series pickups in 1967 and carried the design through to 1972. Built on the same platform as the previous generation, the new F-Series sported sharper styling lines, a larger cab with bigger windows, and expanded engine options. In the late sixties, campers capable of fitting into pickup truck beds became a popular alternative to either tent or trailer camping, so Ford offered a Camper Special version of its F-250 3/4 ton truck. These versions typically came equipped with heavy-duty suspension, bigger brakes, a big block V8."
