Classic Car Overview

This 1969 Ford Bronco was modified during a body-off refurbishment approximately eight years ago. Work included a repaint in pearlescent black and a replacement frame, as well as the installation of a 331ci Ford Stroker V8, which is paired with a Ford C4 three-speed automatic transmission and Dana 20 dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes a gray fabric interior, a removable Rampage black soft top, a Wild Horses 3.5” suspension lift kit, Vintage Air A/C system, a Warn winch, power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, and 17” Mickey Thompson wheels wearing 35” tires. This modified Bronco is being offered with an owner’s manual, records from current and former ownership, and a Maryland title in the seller’s name.  The body was removed from the frame and reportedly underwent rust repair in addition to the installation of a replacement front clip and hood, tailgate, rocker panels, and driver-side inner and outer rear fenders. The truck was then repainted in Audi Phantom Black Pearl while the wheel wells were coated with bedliner material. Exterior features include a removable Rampage black soft top, ProtoFab front and rear bumpers, fender flares, a rear receiver hitch, a Warn VR8000 front winch, and retractable side steps.  An uninstalled still in the box new bikini top will accompany the vehicle.  Black-painted 17” Mickey Thompson wheels feature locking front hubs and are mounted with 35” Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs reportedly sourced from Tom’s Bronco Parts, and the truck features a Wild Horses 3.5” suspension lift kit as well as a 1” body lift. A full-size spare is affixed to the rear tire carrier.  The cabin has been lined with Lizard Skin ceramic insulation and sound deadening material, and features Bestop seats trimmed in gray fabric along with a black dashboard top, custom door panels, and a replacement carpet sourced from Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard. Shoulder belts are fitted for front seat occupants, and amenities include power-assisted steering and a Vintage Air A/C system.  A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a column-mounted 8k-rpm tachometer along with a body-color metal dashboard housing a combination gauge with an inset 100-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 58k miles. Total mileage is unknown.  The Ford V8 has reportedly been stroked to 331ci using a SCAT kit and features a Holley Street Avenger 670-cfm carburetor with an electric choke, a Comp camshaft, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, World Windsor Junior cylinder heads, and ARP head studs. A Tom’s Bronco Parts 23-gallon fuel tank has also been installed along with a Centech wiring harness. The seller notes an engine tune and oil change were performed in 2020. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a Ford C4 three-speed automatic transmission, a Dana 20 T-shift dual-range transfer case, a Dana 30 front axle, and a Ford 9” rear axle. The replacement frame is said to have undergone rust remediation prior to being repainted, while the body was fitted with replacement front floor pans and subsequently coated with Raptor Liner bedliner material. Additional underbody photos are provided in the photo gallery.  A handful of photos taken during various stages of the build can also be seen in the gallery.
