Classic Car Overview

This car is the first production 1969 Dodge Dart 440GTS built in1969. It is featured in the first ever article on the Dart 440GTS in the June 1969 issue of Drag Racing magazine. The car is pictured with the number 52 as seen on the rear driver's side window, this number has also been painted on the passenger side fender well seen in the pictures. The car is an 'M' code. The car is all original sheet metal, never any rust, original factory paint, numbers matching engine and transmission, engine has been bored .030 over stock compression, hardened valve seats and sodium valves, cam is one step above a stock 375hp., runs well, less than 100 miles on the engine, transmission rebuilt to stock, new exhaust, all new brake components, new Firestone Redline original style bias ply tires, original new exhaust tips. New gas tank and sender unit. This car is like new as it would have been sold new in 1969. The driver's seat has a split on the bottom inner seam and is the only flaw in the interior. Perfect dash pad and headliner. Heater core was replaced and the radiator rebuilt stock. The car has no power steering or brakes as these were not an option. Additional parts included a cast iron 440 six pack set-up, a factory dual pt. distributor, additional hood call-outs, a correct numbers carb., and all of the original parts from the restoration. All numbers matching drivetrain and original factory paint with no rust anywhere. An original SaddleBack Dodge Pilot car, asking $139,000 or offer. Please call 734-790-4184 can text to this number also. Thanks for looking.
