Classic Car Overview

Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Gregs Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer for sale this beautiful 1969 Dodge Dart GTS. Let s start by saying this is no poser but is indeed the real deal, a documented GTS Dart. Documented to be number 138 of 174 383 GT Sport two door hardtop cars listed in Galen s Registry. This car is also accompanied by its Original Broadcast Sheet and has had its original fender tag and vin verified by Chrysler Guru Galen Govier. No doubts concerning provenance here. When we see a car like this we are always glad to own it, and when the recent purchaser of this car wanted to know if we d take it in trade on a new Colorado we were glad to oblige. We always love our multiple repeat business- were proud of it! The restoration on this car is both complete and outstanding. Finished to a very high level, top, bottom, inside and out this is a car that truly is a ground up restoration. The quality of the paintwork on the body is extremely nice and follows suit with beautiful OEM sheet metal. Fit and finish is excellent. The quality continues in the engine compartment and underside which are finished in body color and very well done. The interior is a complete restoration and is very tidy having used quality components throughout. All chrome and trim is excellent. Aftermarket air conditioning is the accessory that has been added beyond what is listed on the fender tag and it blows very nice cold air. A civilized muscle car. While being a very well documented car we will state plainly that the engine in this car is a correct coded 383 GTS motor but is not the original to this car. Everything in terms of appearance and performance is exactly as it should be. The engine has been fully rebuilt at time of restoration and performs exactly as one would expect. The powertrain continues through a 727-b Torqueflite automatic that performs very well. Over time, fully documented muscle cars have always represented
