The car was restored 2007 by the skillful hands at Sports Car Craftsmen located in Aurora, CO. It is finished in its original code 531 Beige Grey over black interior. Post restoration, the car has remained in the caring hands of private ownership who enjoyed the car and ensured its proper upkeep. Today, the car remains in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically. The exterior paint, trim and bright work are excellent. The interior retains some originality and shows very good, under the bonnet and boot are clean and tidy. Mechanically, the car is spot on. It is a spirited driver that pulls strong and even to its top end. The suspension is tight and responsive and the car brakes well and straight.
Highlights include: Dual side draft carbs, original tach and gauges, bucket seats, original console, luggage rack, new convertible top, boot, aluminum wheels, front disc brakes, jack, spare, and a nice file of restoration and service receipts. The car also comes with a full tonneau that will need to be fitted with fasteners.
