Car was stored for approximately 20 years then restoration initiated in 2013. Extensive maintenance records available. Contact lister with email to send maintenance records. Matching numbers engine, 02L36AA 427 390-HP Turbo-Jet. 02N14AS side mounted exhaust from factory. No modifications except Vintage Air installed in 2013. AC is currently not engaging. All parts installed. Positraction 370 ratio axle. Power windows (working slow but working). Power brakes. Clear t-tops included. Factory wheels. Tires new in 2013. Assembly instruction manual available. Vintage Air manuals available. Slight oil leak under engine. Not diagnosed. Message me for additional information PDF. As is. Will consider allowance for new tires, detail, AC diagnose, oil leak diagnose. Car was examined by an individual December 2024 (approximately). His assessment is as follows: Beautiful corvette. Thanks for trusting me with it for a few days! Im sure it was loved: A few notes on the maintenance done and other insights while under it: Maintenance Done: Installed new battery Disassembled and cleaned carburetor bowls (corrosion / deposits from ethanol fuel during storage) Changed Engine Oil & Filter; Royal Purple 10W-40 HPS oil. Wix filter Topped up transmission and rear differential; Royal Purple MaxGear 75W-90 Topped up coolant reservoir; Prestone Checked brake fluid. Level ok, but fluid appears dirty. Re- torqued engine mount bolts Test ran the engine to check for leaks and drove around the block. Looks good. Hard to keep running until it warms up. Other Observations: Brake / fuel systems and lines recently rebuilt and look good Engine starts and runs well; could use tuning after storage. Automatic choke needs adjustment. Solid oil pressure (60 psi). Recently rebuilt? Transmission shifts normally; clutch appears good Front suspension looks recently rebuilt, including front and rear sway bars. New front coil springs Headlamp actuators upgraded to electric Gauges appear working correctly (oil pressure, Alternator, Tach and Speedometer). Did not run engine long enough to see coolant temperature stabilize. Not sure if fuel level is correct; currently indicating very low New aftermarket AC system New exhaust system New body paint New solid body mounts New seat covers and carpet Hood is scraping paint at front left gap; any adjustment possible? Oil leaking at engine front and rear. Could be oil pan gasket or crankshaft seals. If rear crank seal, it may require engine removal to replace. Rear leak is fairly significant; probably needs to be replaced if driven regularly Oil leaking from transmission on side plate gasket and rear seal; both need replacement Rear suspension bushings are worn out; all need replacement Suggest flushing / replacing dirty brake fluid No leaks at rear differential Engine air filter could be replaced Did not test AC system, headlights, tail lights, tire pressure, electric windows, etc Age of tires unknown could not find date on tires Be careful to ensure stereo is not on when car is garaged; remove ignition key Suggest using a trickle charger to maintain the battery (located behind drivers seat) Suggest starting the engine and letting it run awhile every week or two; watch the coolant temp though Suggest a tank of fresh premium octane fuel and using Stabile in fuel to prevent corrosion during storage. If engine is stock compression ratio of 10.25, also suggest using an octane booster during every fill up to avoid detonation damage to engine Parking brake needs adjustment; not holding tight. Chock the rear tires if running the engine while in neutral during storage to avoid rolling Frame looks good and has been repainted; dented at front crossmember, probably from floor jacking No sign of significant bird cage rust No power steering. Difficult to park and drive at low speed Coolant reservoir cap / filler neck had crystalline deposits; suggest draining/flushing system and filling with fresh coolant if driven regularly Now that its running, we can schedule a day to get it to the gas station and also check out the remaining systems (AC, lights, tire pressure, etc). A few photos from underneath attached.
