Classic Car Overview

This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in Daytona Yellow over black vinyl, with a black vinyl convertible top. Its powered by a rebuilt engine that is correctly stamped reflecting a 1969 427ci but it is unknown whether this is the original block. The rebuild was completed in 2006 and it was bored & stroked to 496ci, as well as balanced & blueprinted during the rebuild. Fuel flows through the Holley 4bbl carburetor through a Weiand aluminum intake manifold and aluminum heads. Spark is provided by a complete MSD ignition system including a 6AL box with 6,000rpm rev limiter installed. Ceramic coated headers and aftermarket side pipes were installed under current ownership. Cooling is handled by an aluminum Be Cool radiator & electric fans. The engine is paired to a Muncie four-speed manual transmission with a recent clutch. Power is sent to the road via BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on 15 American Racing wheels The body was finished from the factory in Daytona Yellow (984) and repainted under previous ownership. Equipment includes a black vinyl top with plastic rear window, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, chrome rocker panel trim, vented front fenders and chrome side pipes. There are 2 minor blemishes in body which are pictured in the photo gallery. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering, The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, head restraints, hand-crank windows, map pockets, and a push-button AM/FM radio. There is a custom built sound system including Clarion aftermarket head unit with removable faceplate, aux input and satellite radio ready. JL Audio A4300 amplifier powers 5 speakers including 1 subwoofer, 2 mid-range and 2 tweeters. Photos can be seen in gallery Documentation shows previous California ownership in 2001 and sold to current owner by an Arizona dealer in 2002. Purchase includes copies of owners manual & receipts showing over $15K worth of parts & services dating back to 1999.
