1969 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
Coupe Car for sale in Marysville, California 95901
The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!
The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.
Classic Car Overview
Okay straight away with the bad news...its had an original 427 BB engine that was redlined by the previous owner who in a drunken stupor while listening to the cars amazing $6300 sound system, forgot/failed to shift from second to third. The real crudy part was that the mechanic talked him out of the repair of the 427 and into a crate motor from GM. Now the potential upside, it was replaced with a monster 502 BB with over 500 plus horse power and enough torque to pull dinosaurs back from the dead. The vehicle had a frame off restoration and the attention to detail was an understatement. It had won several large car shows. The Paint was done in an incredible fashion, as an old painter myself, I am very very impressed with whomever laid this paint down it is seriously like glass. The car has signs of some very small nicks and scratches as its was a daily driver for a short spell. I would rate this vehicle at a 90+ percent. Its a very nice corvette that saddle I dont have all of the back fill on. I dont have files on the car and I am not the original owner. The car has had the appropriate upgrades throughout without taking away from its factory stance look etc. The suspension, braking and Rock Crusher have also received appropriate upgrades. There are few items that require some small love and attention, nothing major, like little rattles here and there. A great car for someone who enjoys tinkering and easy fun little car projects like replacing a rear view mirror. I have owned the car for about 7 + years, and added about 200 miles on it and it just sits in the garage and is started every few weeks or so. The Engine has a few thousand miles on it it from the time it was swapped. I have no need for the car and am moving on to a boat. I have several more pictures and will answer any questions that I can. The crate motor was $12,890.00 before the installation. I believe the entire engine swap cost the previous owner over 14,800.00. I guess locating a matching number block was a factor 10 years ago, lol. Its a great car with more money in upgrades, repair costs and restoration that what I am asking for. Please let me know if your interested and please reasonable offers as well. I am in no rush but would like to see the car go to the right home.
