Chevrolet introduced the Chevelle in 1963 as a 1964 model. Though quite large by today's standards, it was classified as a midsize car. What wasn't midsize was the level of passion garnered from the very beginning, a passion that has continued for decades.

Classic Car Overview

Rust free western body was shipped in 2000. The body was soda blasted and a 4" cowl scoop added. Car was painted with Dupont silver pearl tri-coat and re-assembled. All chrome and body panels are original, except grille. Engine is numbers matching 1969 Corvette 427/435 right down to intake manifold. A turbo 400 with 3000 stall speed converter (all from Coan) delivers the power to the 12 bolt rear, filled with Moroso Brute Strength center with Richmond 4.10:1 gears. Moser c-clip eliminator axles with 1/2" studs complete the drivetrain. Hooker Super Comp headers, Flow Master mufflers and Mandrel bent 3" exhaust. Wheels are Centerline, 6" front and 8" rears. Solid lifters with electric cut-outs. The Cam is a Comp Magnum flat tappet #11-219-4. The car is clean from frame up and always garage kept! (note: mileage is TMU)
