The 1969 Camaro marked the final year of Chevrolets first-generation Camaro, a model line introduced to compete in the growing pony-car market. For 1969, Chevrolet gave the Camaro a more aggressive appearance with revised sheet metal, a redesigned grille, updated rear styling, squared-off wheel openings, and a refreshed interior with new dash details.
