We recently acquired this beautiful Rally Sport Resto-Mod Camaro from a longtime owner who told us that he bought his dream car when he was 14 years old after saving up his newspaper delivery money. He said he found it in a neighbors yard with a tree growing out of it! He didnt care he just bought a 69 Camaro! He must have been the coolest kid on the block!! He said that years rolled by before he began the restoration process, but inevitably he took it off the frame and after spending thousands of dollars and hundreds of labor hours he got it close enough to drive to local shows and cruise-ins. He did a really nice job and built one hell of a nice car however he never got around to the final details that takes these cars over the top and to the finish line! He contacted us looking for a shop to finish the car and sort out its much-needed issues but decided to just sell us the car instead, I suppose he realized it is not as easy as it looks to get these cars to that final finish line. His loss could be your gain because you sure as hell cant build these cars to this high of a level for our asking price! CHECK IT OUT!!
The body is very straight, solid and clean including the floors, trunk and frame. It appears to have some aftermarket replacement panels, but all were installed correctly and look really good. (better to be metal then mud) Painted in base/clear Torch Red it is slick and smooth with a deep luster and show car shine. We just compounded and polished it and added a 1-year ceramic coating to protect the shine. It also has all new chrome, trim and weather stripping and glass too.
The Deluxe Comfort-weave interior is all new and looks amazing including the seats, carpets, door panels, headliner and dash. It also has a factory center console with functional gauge package and an in-dash tach. It is all VERY-VERY NICE!!
This beautiful Camaro not only looks good she runs even better! It is powered by a custom built 383 c.i. 400+ h.p. aluminum head small block engine that runs and sounds awesome. We were told it was bought and built from Performance Unlimited who builds nothing but quality engines. It is topped off with a Holley Sniper Fuel Injection system for smooth starts and quick throttle response. It also has an MSD ignition system and big tube headers flowing into a Pypes dual exhaust system and is backed up with a new Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:73 gears.
Other features include, all new steering, suspension, brake and fuel systems including a Detroit Speed power rack-n-pinion steering and tubular control arms, 4-wheel CPP power disc brakes, electric hide-a-way headlights, power windows, B-Cool aluminum radiator, 17 American Racing Torq-Thrust II polished wheels, Retro-Sound stereo and a whole lot more!!
This car was a big dollar build that was in need of some sorting out but now that she is done it is absolutely beautiful and runs and drives incredibly well! DONT MISS IT!!
