This particular first gen started life as a 124 V8 coupe. The RS front end with electric light system was added later in life along with a metal cowl induction hood. Some cars you just have to see to appreciate others you have to hear but this Z/28 Tribute you have to see and hear. Whats under the hood? A 327? 350? 396? 427? 454? No no no. This is a fire breathing 502 Merlin III topped off with Dart Pro 1 heads and a Sniper EFI system - insert evil laughter. This magical motor should easily be tipping the dyno around 600hp and thats with ice cold a/c blasting! But wait theres more! A 4L80 overdrive transmission sends the brute power to a 12 bolt rear diff. Adjustable front and rear suspension pieces create a killer stance while sub frame connectors and four wheel power disc brakes bring this rocket to a stop. Ok deep breath. Take another drink and just look at this thing again. You are correct those are ghost flames. The 20 Boss wheels and tinted windows...dude is that a tear in your eye?
