Classic Car Overview
FOR SALE 1969 CAMARO COUPE. Project restoration.
PLEASE READ: This car is completely torn down and ready to install new metal. It is very fairly priced. If you purchase any other Camaro for a project rebuild please consider the purchase price of that Camaro and labor to completely strip to the body. Example you purchase a Camaro for 15K and spend hundreds of hours of tear down or spend another 10K for someone to tear down you have a total investment of 25K. now you need to purchase replacement metal and restore that Camaro. My Camaro is a fair price for a project car nearly 40% involved in restoration.
I have and hold a clear title on this car which I purchased nearly 20 years ago. Basically I have jump started a long process for a new owner.
Engine 327 C.I.D. and is not original.
I began the full restoration project in Oct 2020 and finally this past January the car was completely stripped as it is now in the photos.
The only items missing are the transmission and front windshield. I have taken painstaking time to label every part as it was removed with smaller items placed in labeled bags. Yes there is rust to deal with and Ive had an expert custom car professional look the car over and stated it wasnt too bad. Note: I was going to use this professional to finish from this point on.
I used a aluminum media blast booth to remove most of underneath coating and mostly all the paint and sealant in the channels where rust hides.
I have over $8200.00 in new sheetmetal and parts. A full list of pages are provided upon serious inquiries.
Of note some of the major parts I have purchased:
NEW front sub frame
Both LH and RH seat pans from firewall to rear seat.
Both LH and RH inner rocker panels
LH and RH front torque boxes
Seat braces
LH and RH frame connectors
Front grill
Headliner
Inner RH front fender
Front bumper
Radiator support
Body bushings poly
Dash pad black
LH and RH front vent kick panels
Front in dash speakers correct for this car
All brake cables
Holly 4150 650 CFM carburetor
Chrome wheel well trim
Lower chrome body trim along outer rocker panel
So many boxes full of new parts
The stand/jig that you see in the photos was custom made with all 4 sub frame attach points aligned to make installation of new floors, seat braces and front torque boxes easier to correctly position.
