Very complete 1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille powered by Cadillac's 472 cu. in. V8, TH400 automatic transmission, and rare 3.21 posi rear-end performance option.

The current owner has owned the car since approximately 1983 and has kept a handwritten maintenance log throughout his ownership. The maintenance log goes with the car, along with the OEM GM factory shop manual.

Mechanically, the Cadillac runs and drives very well. The 472 is strong, and the 3.21 posi rear gives the car noticeably stronger off-the-line performance than the usual tall-geared Cadillacs of the era.

The car is currently fitted with period-correct D-slot mag wheels from a Buick Riviera. The correct Cadillac wheel covers are included and are currently stored in the trunk. The original Cadillac steel wheels are also included with the sale and are being stored separately.

The Cadillac remains largely stock and is very complete, retaining its original-style engine compartment, interior, trim, moldings, emblems, and other difficult-to-find Cadillac-specific pieces.

The interior is very complete and presents well for its age. The power windows operate properly. As expected with a car of this age, some convenience accessories may need attention.

This is an older driver-quality car, not a restored show car. The body does have rust and previous bodywork, including rust in the lower rear quarter/dogleg areas. The photos are intended to show the condition honestly, and in-person inspection is encouraged.

The car has never been wrecked, and the frame is rock solid. The floor pan, trunk, and structure are straight and true. Glass is excellent, and the distinctive one-piece rear glass is a great conversation piece.

The Cadillac is currently plated and insured in New York, has a current New York State inspection, and is available for a test drive by serious buyers.

This is a very complete, long-term-owned Cadillac that can be enjoyed as-is while being improved over time, or used as the basis for an outstanding restoration.
