1969 Cadillac De Ville Coupe
Coupe Car for sale in Brandon, Florida 33511
From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.
The no-frills Savoy two-door sedan was home to another engine of considerable repute, the infamous 413 Max Wedge, a Super Stock monster block Chrysler introduced in the spring of 1962.

Date of Inspection: 7/30/2018
The inspection performed above, I was able to look at the current market and find several comparable vehicles. Looking only at the same year, make, model and body style narrowed the market range from $7,500 - $33,000. Most of these were restored running and driving vehicles. The closest comp I found was a running / driving vehicle that was customized with a sound system and very nicely restored. It was the one listed at $33,000. Most of the market was $7,500 - $15,000.
Hagerty Average Value: $13,900 – This value does not take into consideration condition and assumes a running/driving car.
NADA Retail Value- LOW: $4,825 – AVERAGE: $8,950 – HIGH: $14,000 With all of that in mind, I appraise the vehicle mentioned above at:
$8,000 – Fair Market Value
Body - 8 – Driver quality – Body appears very straight and solid. Doors open and close nicely. It has add on hood scoops, quad exhaust tips and a spray on rubberized material in place of the vinyl top.
Paint - 7 – Driver quality – This Cadillac appears to have a nice high gloss black paint job. It is hard to tell the exact quality since it has been sitting and is dusty. But it looks like it could be cleaned up and used as it is.
Interior - 7 – Driver quality – It is all customized with custom seats, dash, center console, door panels and sound system. Everything look to be in good shape, it just has some age to it and is going to take the right buyer to pay for the work that has been done.
Engine - 7 – Driver quality – Big Block V8 with some modifications, both mechanical and cosmetic. It is dirty but could clean up and be usable for a driver, possibly even a show car. It looks like it was nicely restored at one point.
Transmission - 3 – Could not test functionality with the engine not running.
Tires and Wheels - 5 – 3 tires are holding air and look to be in good shape. One is flat, which can happen from sitting. Hub caps are nice with no damage noted.
Brakes and Suspension – 6 – The brakes and suspension are stock and look to have some newer parts. I would certainly go through them before taking the vehicle on the road, to be safe.
Options: Cloth interior, seat belts, AM/FM/Cassette radio, power steering, power brakes, A/C, tilt steering wheel, radial tires, hub caps, power locks, power seat,
Glass - 8 – Driver quality - All in good shape with no chips, cracks or major scratches noted.
Trim - 8 – Driver quality - All straight and complete. Body trim is in good shape. Hood ornament has been changed.
