STK 3491 1969 Alfa Romeo The Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina was produced from 1968 through 1971. Berlina is the Italian term for a saloon car, an executive ride. The Berlina 4-door sedan is not large in appearance from the outside, but is surprising roomy inside. This 1969 Alfa Romero 1750 Berlina is virtually complete in all respects and is powered by Alfas 1779cc DOHC engine that produces 116hp. This engine is factory equipped with an advanced version of the SPICA designed mechanical fuel injection and is backed by a 5-speed manual gearbox. The chassis is fitted with manual steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes and Alfa alloy wheels that mount Hankook radials. The original exterior finish is weathered, needs TLC but is relatively rust-free. The interior is in overall good condition - leather seats show minor wear, but present well. Door cards are acceptable and the wood-trimmed dash is in very good shape except for cracks near the drivers door. The classic center console holds a full set of gauges and trans shifter and the 3-spoke wood steering wheel is top-shelf.
