1968 Volkswagen Other Volkswagen Models

Very cool 1968 VW Fastback Type 3. Purchased in 2013 from someone who bought from original owner. At that time it had 68,000 miles. This car lives and has always lived in California. That said there is some rust as shown in the pics, but overall in great shape. Its original paint color and engine(air cooled, pancake engine in the trunk). Interior is in need of some care as its not gotten the love it needs. The interior is as I received it. Radio was replaced(it never worked) with a new looking old school style that has an aux cable hook up so you can plug into a phone for music. Overall its pretty nice and solid underneath, floor pans, etc. and it runs and shifts well. Original paint inside still, door jambs etc. still has original fuel injection system( most have been converted to dual carbs), and it starts up first try and runs strong, just needs to go to a loving home!
