1968 Pontiac Firebird

1968 PONTIAC FIREBIRD RESTOMOD This 1968 Pontiac Firebird is refinished in Black Cherry with Silver Rally stripes over black upholstery. No expense was spared with this Frame-off restoration and professionally upgraded with a restomod 400ci V8 paired with a TREMEC TKO six-speed manual transmission and an Eaton 3.90 Posi Rear. The 400ci is a YS Block with a Holley 750 4bbl carburetor, Edelbrock Performance RPM heads, MSD ignition, and Milodon oil pan. Also equipped with a Billet Specialties serpentine pulley system, chrome power steering, alternator, air conditioning, braided lines and billet hood hinges. The chrome bumpers, chrome trim on the rocker panels, wheel arches, and window surrounds are in perfect condition. This Firebird carries the Ram-air 400 hood. The underside was not forgotten, nicely painted gloss black. The suspension has been upgraded with a Hotchkis tubular front end and frame support. A full-size stainless fuel tank, new bushings, shocks and lines were added. The exhaust includes ceramic-coated Doug Thorley Headers connected to a stainless dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. Stopping this classic is done with ease because of its 4-wheel drilled/slotted disc brakes. 5-star chrome wheels mounted to 225/70 R15 F and 225/60 R15 R BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench retrimmed in black vinyl that are accompanied by a matching dashboard top, headliner, carpets, and door panels. The three-spoke tilt steering wheel fronts an Auto Meter gauge package with Speedometer, Tachometer, Oil, Water, Fuel and Volts. Additional details include power windows, center console, bright door sill protectors, lap belts, TKO shifter, and a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo with Alphine speakers.
