Under the hood sits a period-correct 428 cubic inch V8 (stamping code YH, engine block casting number 9792968) paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The 7l V8 breathes in through a newer Holley 4bbl carburetor and exhales through a pair of chambered mufflers arranged in a true-dual exhaust system. This massive cast-iron powerplant has plenty of torque to move this full-size drop top Pontiac easily down the road, and the suspension eagerly flattens the bumps for your enjoyment. The power top goes up and down effortlessly and quickly. The power 4-wheel drum brakes safely and smoothly slow this land yacht to a halt with no drama. The power steering makes navigating a breeze! With a bench seat front and rear, you can drive the whole family, or your whole crew of friends in style anywhere you go. This Bonneville was transported from California only a few years ago, and has never seen a winter on the road. The underside is as clan as they come!
