The entire restoration is documented with photos. It started its life as an original CA car; during the restoration, all original sheet metal was retained and refinished in its factory color, PP1 Matador Red. The paint and body are laser-straight front to rear, and the chrome and stainless trim are excellent, with no dings or pitting anywhere. Under the hood is its original 426 Hemi, linked to a 727 automatic transmission and an 8 3:55 posi rear end. This Road Runner is fitted with both power steering and power disc brakes to make it easier to focus on the HEMIs power. This car is in the registry and has a GTS visual inspection completed by Galen V Govier with a condition grade of 1.7. In 1968, only 840 HEMI coupes were produced, 449 4-speed cars, and 391 automatic cars. The interior of this Road Runner was restored to factory specifications and is presented in perfect condition, with no rips, tears, or odors.
