Classic Car Overview

#s match motor and trans, it was born like you see it. There are binders of info pertaining to its restoration. The previous owner that restored this car had it for 20 years. EXTERIOR: The body is clean and straight with excellent gaps. It was media blasted before being painted professionally back to its original Avocado Green with black vinyl top. 3 coats of base coat, 3 coats of clear, sanded between coats. The vinyl top looks new. Mostly original chrome with minimal patina. Optional fender mounted turn signals look new. Crystal clear windshield. Rolling on correct magnum wheels wrapped in reproduction Wide Oval redlines. INTERIOR: Restored back to its original deluxe interior. Premium Legendary interior kit. The seat was rebuilt and upholstered. Door panels and armrests were replaced. Very clean dash area with a factory tachometer and AM radio. Replaced carpet with correct Hurst shifter sticking out. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Numbers matching 383 rebuilt and bored to 406ci! Upgraded with Keith Black pistons, Comp Cams, Magnum Muscle cam and high-volume oil pump, rebuilt heads. Stock manifolds, air cleaner, valve covers etc. Reproduction plug wires, hoses and clamps. Upgraded Edelbrock carb, high-capacity alternator, and electronic ignition added. It has power steering; the steering column has been rebuilt. It is very proper: battery is secured, wires are properly attached and routed, squirters are hooked up. The original fender tag is still in place and #s on core support matches. The engine bay is painted beautifully. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb is painted slick like the car. The sticker and weatherstrip has been replaced. Inside is clean, solid metal. It has the original plaid mat and working trunk light. Painted rim with a new BFG tire for a spare and it has the jack. UNDERSIDE: Under this car appears to be rust free original metal. It looks like just about every component has been rebuilt or replaced. The steering, front and rear suspension were rebuilt. New dual exhaust was neatly installed. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. Correct drum brakes at all four wheels have been gone through, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor, its clean and painted nicely, it has a high torque starter. Original #s matching 4-speed transmission was completely rebuilt. Everything is powered through the original restored 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55 Sure Grip gears. SERVICE: We spent $3,000 servicing this one. We replaced the spark plugs and adjusted idle, repaired back up lights, went through dash wiring and lights to make sure all are functional, gave it a front-end alignment, fixed the brake lights, replaced driver window channels, replaced passenger window regulator. New door locks and cylinders installed. Reconditioned drum brakes, bled and filled brake fluid. This is a very honest Road Runner. The owner of 20 years took a lot of pride in restoring it to authentic condition. He made sure it as functional as it is beautiful. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the cars condition in detail. These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Power Steering 3.55 Sure Grip Light package Factory tachometer Redline tires Magnum Wheels Vinyl top
