1968 Oldsmobile 442

A beautiful 1968 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coup. Finished is scarlet red with white accents. Repaited to original color as noted. A TRUE 442 CAR. This car is powered by the rebuilt, era-correct 455 V8 that is paired with a TKX 5-speed manual transmission. The engine was rebuilt in 2018 and now has a Holley Sniper EFI system with controls mounted on the center console. Edelbrock Performer Olds intake, Performer aluminum heads, Offenhauser valve covers and Duggs headers. I have the folder of receipts showing work completed and the Dyno sheet showing 454 hp and 535 lb/ft torque. Nicely equipped with power steering, belt system, billet brackets, Be Cool aluminum radiator, power breaks, AM radio (works), and Vintage Air AC (blows cold). All lights in working order including clock, tach, truck light, dome light, etc. Paint is in great shape, chrome and brightwork is very nice. Riding on the 442 wheels are BFGoodrich Radial tires, like new (matching spare is new). Seats and headliner are in great shape and in 1968 have shoulder and lap belts; all intact and functional. Horm, wipers, tachometer with integral clocks works great. A smooth driver, fires each time with the EFI and sounds great with the trumpeter tail pipe tips. Underside is just as nice, see photos. According to the VIN, there were only just over 92,000 units of this make, model and trim produced.
