1968 Ford Mustang

We have a 1968 Ford Mustang GT S Code 390 Mustang for sale. This is a stunning Mustang that is an AACA National First Prize winner. Its done in the lovely Black with Red interior color combo that showcases all the timeless styling. The body is straight as an arrow down the sides, and we can see that the lines flow seamlessly from front to back. Its showcased in the Black paint that has been polished out to a beautiful finish thats as slick as a ribbon. The hood features matte black accents, and it also has white stripes down the sides. Both front and rear bumpers are beautiful along with the rest of the trim and stainless. It comes equipped with rocker molding, wheel opening molding and drip rail molding. All the headlight and taillights are in great condition and working as they should. We can see that all the glass is beautiful as well and that the seals and weather are in good condition. Both windows roll up and down with ease and have excellent fit. To finish off the exterior its sitting on the 14 steel wheels with GT Caps along with having White Wall Tires. Next, we will take a look at the interior of this GT. On the inside, its done in the red color scheme that provides a stunning accent to the exterior. It features bucket seats and a console that houses the automatic shifter. It also has an overhead console as well. We can see that the headliner has an excellent fit along with the carpet up front and in the rear when the seat is folded down. The classic 2+2 design features the fold-down back seat. We can see that this Mustang does have the front and rear seat belts and that all of the interior lights are working as they should. Looking at the dash all of the trim and pad are very nice. The gauges are excellent as well are are working as they should along with the wipers and signals. Inside the trunk is all solid and is detailed out with the trunk mat and spare. Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood, we can see that everything has a stunning eye for detail. The inner fenders and firewall are all rock solid. Its finished out with Autolite hoses and factory-style clamps. The power comes from the 380 V8 engine, a factory option for this S Code GT Mustang. ITs detailed out with the factory style air cleaner and chrome valve covers. For exhaust, it has manifolds with dual pipes with resonators and a factory-styled dual exhaust muffler. The 390 V8 engine is mated to the C6 Automatic Transmission that runs through the 9 Ford Rear End. This 68 comes with Power Brakes that feature disc on the front and drums on the rear. When we look under it we can see that the floor pans are all rock solid with no signs of abuse. The frame is in excellent condition as well and is a testament to how well this car has been cared for over the years. All new bushings and ball joints were installed at the time of the restoration, making for an excellent vehicle to cruise. Brake lines and Fuel lines were replaced along with a new gas tank having been installed. This is truly a stunning Mustang GT thats beautifully restored and is ready to show or cruise.
