Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.

1982 Mustang GT

Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the '80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.

Classic Car Overview

1968 Mustang Shelby GT350 Fastback Replica.  Same owner last 20 years.  Authentic Shelby appearance inside and out.  Beautiful paint and interior with correct console sporting Auto Meter gauges.  Less than 500 miles on completely rebuilt 289 V8 over bored to 302 c.i.  Genuine Shelby 10-spoke wheels.  Equipped with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, Mustang SVT Cobra heads, as well as Edelbrock aluminum intake with 650 cfm Edelbrock 4-barrel carb.  Finned “Cobra” blacked out aluminum valve covers and air cleaner cover with K&N air filter.  Also has Hedman exhaust headers connected to Flowmaster 2-chamber mufflers and is outfitted with traction bars.  This car sounds fantastic!  Fuel lines, gas tank, shocks, tires, front disks, high-capacity aluminum radiator and wiring harnesses (front to rear) are all new within past 2-3 years.  New clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch cable and MSD ignition all done with recent engine rebuild.  Trunk mounted Sony 10 disk CD player with 4 speakers.  This beauty has been used as a fun cruiser and driven less than 1000 miles per year.  It’s a blast to drive and definitely attracts tons of attention every time it’s on the street or even just parked. The car has always been garaged since I’ve owned it and lovingly maintained.  I have volumes of documentation on the car’s history.  This car needs absolutely nothing to instantly be amongst the coolest classic car rides in any town.  If you see it in person and drive it, you're gonna want to own it!
