Classic Car Overview

For many classic Mustang enthusiasts, the 67-68 is the one to have. A more muscular version of the original, these Mustangs boasted beefier styling, especially in sleek fastback form, as well as more potent engine options and a greater array of luxury options.

Stunning in Wimbledon White with Le Mans Blue stripes, this fully restored and seriously built 1968 Mustang fastback makes a strong impression. A set of Magnum 500 wheels wearing BFG T/A tires sets it off perfectly. The rock solid body panels and underside are just as impressive. Inside, a pair of racing-style seats hints at the cars pavement ripping personality. Full instrumentation as well as a B&M Megashifter ratchet shifter furthers that impression.

Under the tastefully cowl scooped hood theres a stroked 351 Windsor with all the goodies. Highlights include Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, a huge Demon carb, a Comp Cams ultra-performance cam, an MSD electronic ignition and an alcohol injection system. With a stout 13.7:1 compression ratio, this mill means business and likely cranks out well over 400 horsepower. All that power goes through a built C4 automatic with a reverse manual valve body and out to the rear wheels via a Ford 9-inch locker rear end. Brakes are drums all around (preferred by many drag racers due to lighter weight and less drag) while suspension upgrades include adjustable camber plates, air springs and a strut tower brace. A binder packed full of receipts provides greater detail and awaits your scrutiny.

With its captivating combination of beautiful condition and blazing performance, this mesmerizing Mustang fastback restomod must be seen, heard and driven to be believed. Please call Carroll Street Auto at (603) 627-5595 to schedule time to view this Mustang close up. Financing is offered through our approved lender, trades are welcome and enclosed shipping can be arranged.
