1968 FORD MUSTANG V8 302 H.O 5.0 with T5 5 speed. with 11 inch vented power front and rear disc brakes.so much has been done two this mustang here's is a brake down of what has bin done to this car in the 12 years of owning this car.... Motor.. ford mustang 1985 V8 5.0 H.O roller cam block and heads.I took the motor to JBA performance in San Diego California and i spoke with Bob and he said that the motor was in good shape and also asked him what to do for more power so this is what was done to this motor... new B303 ford racing cam with 480 lift intake and 480 lift exhaust. also SVO ford racing 1.72 bolt down roller rockers arms. with the combination of 1.72 ratio roller rocker arms and the B303 cam it brings the maximum lift to 510 intake and 510 exhaust . new ford racing roller lifter. new ford racing high volume oil pump. new ford racing double roller timing chain set. set at 0 degrees.. new brass freeze plugs. new Canton 7 quart oil pan. new ARP head bolts. new motor mounts with the driver side modified with a 1/2 grade 8 bolt through it so it can stretch a little bit but not brake in half. new ford racing valve covers. new ford racing distributor. all new serpentine pulleys with new auto belt tensioner. new edelbrock air gap victor jr 302 intake. new timing chain cover. new ford racing 50 oz. harmonic damper ..........

Heads .......... 1985 ford mustang fully ported flow tested and cc. manley one piece stainless steel valves. intake valves size is 1.940 and exhaust valve size is 1.600. new guide liners. new hardened valve seats. new Ford racing double valve springs & hardened steel retainers & valve locks. Heads built by JBA Performance in San Diego CA. Custom Built Holley 800 CFM double pump by Morton's Fabrication ..........

Transmission .......... Borg Warner T5 5 speed & bell housing. new Ford Racing heavy duty clutch & pressure plate. new Ford racing 50 oz. imbalance fly wheel. new cable & petal conversion kit for early model mustangs. new T5 conversion cross member and hardware kit. new Drive Line 3 inch drive shaft & yoke. new heavy duty Spicer U joints. new Ford racing throw out bearing & pilot bearing. new Hurst short throw shifter. new Ford racing gear reduction starter.. new speed o cable & gear. new Ford racing shift fork. new ford shift fork cover ..........

Suspension .......... new upper a arms. new lower arms. new center link. new inter & outer tie rods ends. new idler arm. new pitman arm. new springs. new lower arms adjusters. Koni adjustable shocks front and rear. new 1 inch front sway bar kit. all parts are grab-a-trak from mustang plus in Stockton ca. Ok so now for the modification to the upper a arms. I relocated the upper ball joint so I could lower the a arm 1 1/2 inchs on the body you can see were the a arm used to be. lowering the upper a arm greatly improves handing capability ..........

Power Steering System All New .......... also I did not like the Ford power steering system it totally sucks and always leaks.. so I did a lot of research and this is what I did like. new power steering there are two kits two make this work . First is the Borgeson power steering box kit . Second is the Borgeson power steering pump & brackets & bolts & hoses kit.. and it works awesome and you have full turning radius and no play in the box I love this kit expensive but well worth the money. new rear end and suspension

new 8" Currie complete center section differential with new case. new bearings. new yoke. new 325 gears. new traction-lock. new axel seals. new axle bearings ..........

Brakes front and rear power 4 wheels disc brakes All New ..........
Front Brakes 11" vented 1976 Ford Granada front disc brake assemble and that's including the spindles. new bearings new seats new rotors new seals new rebuilt calipers new Semi Metallic brake pads new high pressure flexible brake hoses... Rear Disc brakes... 11" vented SSBC Performance Brake Systems Drum To Disc Brake Conversion Kit from Summit Racing with adjustable on the dash proportioning valve so you can turn the pressure up or down sitting in the car . all new steel hard brake lines from front to back and side to side . new Ford SVO 4 wheel disc brake master cylinder with 1 inch piston . new power booster . new vacuum hoses and clamps .

Also I did not like the way Ford put a pull handle Emergency brake under the dash that totally sucks . So I pull it out of the car and through it in the trash . then I retrofitted a foot pedal Emergency brake assembly in the car and with some modification works well and no more pull handle and makes the car more modern and way more user friendly . ..........

Exhaust System All New
Custom Headers and exhaust system with X pipe and thrush, turbo, 3 inch mufflers,
Header tubing is 1 5/8
16 gauge steel tubing
with 3/8 think head flanges and 3/8 think collector flanges
Collector size is 3 inch. The whole exhaust system is 3 inch except the tail pipes are
2 1/2
The whole exhaust system bolts together,

Fuel System is all new .......... new fuel tank and body gasket and bolts. new filler neck and connecting hose and clamps. new sending unit and gasket and bolts. new gas cap and pop open cover. new fuel line 3/8 stainless steel tubing two piece kit. it runs all the way from the tank to the engine compartment. new Holley high volume mechanical fuel pump. new fuel hoses and clamps from hard line to pump and from pump to carb. new Holley double pump hard fuel line with pressure gauge which feeds the carburetor. new fuel filter mounted just out side of the tank by the sending unit. new totally custom Holley 800 CFM Carburetor Build by Morton's Fabrication ..........

Ignition System All New .......... High Energy Ford Motorsport Electronic Dura Spark Ignition System with 40.000 volts. new Ford Motorsport Distributor. new Ford Dura spark Control Box. new Ford Motorsport High Energy Coil. new cap and rotor. new spark plug wires and spark plugs.

All new wiring and relays. ..........

Charging System and Battery All New .......... Well the Alternator is a GM one wire 100 amp Internally regulated totally complete unit. I know what you are thinking you used a Chevy part on a Ford . Yes i did . well its way better than the old charging system and its totally state of the art and improves the Reliability . That was my goal to bring this car to the 21st-century on every thing that I touched . reliable and easy to fix . Battery is a Optima Yellow Top Deep Cycle with 870 cranking amps at ( 32.F ) With 120 minute of reserve capacity and the battery comes with a cover and I totally custom fit it on the top you will see it in the photos. they really don't fit that way looks good really smooth. plus also installed a battery relocate kit and a main power shut off switch in the trunk . With no power to any thing its really hard to steel the car but not impossible .......... Interior.......... Well I put a power window kit in the car . I only did the doors windows but they work really well . seats are in good shape . I took the seats out and carpet and used a rubberized coating on the floor . and then I put floor insulation down and a new carpet kit in the car . I did some of the gauges but not all of them with a New Tachometer ..........

Rims & Tires All New .......... Rims are American Racing Torq - Thrust II polished 17 x 8 with polished center caps and stainless steel screws . and a wheel lock kit . and polished lug nuts . Tires are Raptor 235 / 45 / ZR / 17 .......... Not done with this ad More to come soon way to much to list at one time . the car has no air or heater
