The Dodge Li'l Red Express set a standard on how to make a great performance truck. All Dodge Li'l Red Express trucks came from the factory painted in Bright Canyon Red in 1978 and Medium Canyon Red in 1979. Every Li'l Red Express was a regular cab Adventurer with a stepside bed.
Classic vintage Chevrolet pickup trucks are receiving growing interest among car enthusiasts. The most collectible muscle cars are numbers-matching survivors; the most sought-after vintage trucks are full custom builds.
Classic Car Overview
This Bronco is currently a "blank canvas". The Bronco we're building is going to look nearly identical to the one in these photos (which we just custom built for a client in North Carolina). We are in the process of building it out, it is scheduled for late 2020 or early 2021 completion. It is going to get a new 306 Blueprint crate engine (either way, will have over 350HP which is plenty for a Classic Bronco) It is going to be a 100% rust free body with new hood, tailgate, fenders, grille, uncut rear fenders, windshield frame, bed, plus new inner fenders, rocker panels, door posts, etc mounted on a restored stock 1976 Bronco rolling chassis or a 1973 Bronco rolling chassis with a Dana 44 front axle with disc brakes and a Ford 9" rear axle with drums.
It is currently UNCUT but we could (potentially) cut the fenders and install new match painted, black or white fender flares if you want fender flares. It could be a 5 speed manual OR a rebuilt 3 speed automatic, with an optional 4 speed automatic, plus a rebuilt / restored Dana 20 transfer case with a new billet dress up kit. It will have new front and rear drive shafts and all new U-joints, the running gear will be new or rebuilt throughout.
It will have restored stock bucket seating for 4 or high back front and rear seats with headrests, in either vintage distressed leather or pleated German vinyl, depending on your budget. It will have a new Legend dash board (with or without) A/C with 4 billet A/C vents, plus a new Dakota Digital or Classic Instruments speedometer, with all new switches and bezels. We plan to install old school "smooth retro 17 x 7 inch steel wheels with Derby hub caps, but we can install your choice of wheels and tires. Price will start at $89,950.00 for the basic body-off restoration, and will go up as we decide to install a new sound system, A/C, leather interior, etc. It could end up in the $125K to $150K price range (as did the one you are looking at in the completed photos) or it could go to $175K or higher if we go with a Coyote engine, a 4R70W four speed automatic with a new Atlas 2 transfer case. It will get a new locking center console with a new Alpine sound system with a 5 channel Focal amplifier plus 4 Focal coaxial speakers throughout the cab (if the customer wants a nice sound system, and has the budget to have one installed, otherwise we go with a Retro Radio in-dash with a pair of small speakers in a box mounted on top of the shift cover.
