Originally designed in 1964 over a Studebaker chassis with their 289ci V8 but due to Studebakers demise the project was forced in a different direction and connections ultimately landed the car with Corvette power. Taking into account the cars 2100 pounds, along with a, Chevrolet V8 mated to a 4-speed manual, the produced models were sensationally quick and able to accelerate to 60 mph in just over five seconds with a top speed of 160mph!
