EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch chrome Magnum wheels is wrapped in staggered-width BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bench seat, rear seat, rear trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include black carpet with black carpeted floor mats and a Super Bee logo, yellow interior sheet metal, and a Hurst pistol grip manual transmission shifter. Additional features include power steering and brakes, manual windows, a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo with a hideaway screen, and a black dashboard
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A Classic Instruments gauge cluster that includes a 140-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage is mounted ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 15,500 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a rebuilt and blueprinted GTX-sourced 440ci Magnum V8 engine with two four-barrel carburetors and a mild camshaft. The reported output is approximately 500 horsepower and is backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include a custom dual four-barrel air cleaner with a Ramcharger intake assembly, an aluminum intake, and aluminum valve covers.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Super Bee was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. New floor panels, trunk panels, and subframe connectors were installed during the restoration. Power disc brakes help bring the car to a stop; the front discs are from a Dodge and the rear discs are from a Ford Crown Victoria. The full-length dual-exhaust system has been equipped with electric cut-outs. Additional photos of the underbody can be seen in the carousel to the right.
