Classic Car Overview

1968 Corvette Repairs and Modifications

Transmission rebuild, new clutch, top end rebuild (valve job, rocker arms, push rods, guides, studs, and gaskets), new radiator shroud, seals, and drain petcock, blast and recoat exhaust manifolds, new heater core,
electrical modifications (rebuilt distributor, new ignition box, new TI coil), inside of hood repainted, back-up lights repaired, new fuel tank, rebuilt carburetors including new base plates, new exhaust system including exhaust pipe, muffler, and tips, new gas tank, new fuel pump and fuel line, new master cylinder, new brake calipers, new wheels and tires, new battery, new spark plugs.

This L71 427/435 was the most powerful Corvette made in 1968 next to the L88. As a 57 year old car, it has gone through many hands and previous mechanical work has not always been up to spec. The engine has now had extensive work done and has many new replacement parts that are original for a 68. Runs out great! I have all the paperwork showing work that has been done and can provide it to a prospective buyer. If you've been longing for a 68 Corvette convertible, please consider this one.
