1968 Corvette TTtop, L88 tribute this minutely re-created replica of a 1968 L88 Coupe. It started its life as a 327/350 Silver Coupe with manual transmission and the body has 56K miles (in storage since 1985). The new engine is over the counter crate L88 (last 3-digits of casting = 959), correct cylinder heads for 1969 L88, Aluminum 074 round exhaust port, intake manifold 198, 1967 L88 3418-A carburetor. Engine has Lunati solid roller cam (LSA 106, LIFT 695, duration 310, intake 310 exhaust, valve lash 22 intake/24 exhaust, roller lifters, Crane gold roller rockers. Has Hooker Chrome side pipes. Transmission is a M20 Muncie, original 3.70 positraction rear end. Also: new fuel tank, new fuel lines, new brake lines, new Stainless Steel emergency brakes, new calipers, new American Racing wheels with radial Redline tires. Pretty much everything was recently gone through and is in functioning order: vacuum operated headlights, all gauges and instruments work, clock works, all lights work... Body features the original Silver paint which has the appropriate patina and quite a few scars and is now ready for your choice of paint. Hood is a correct L88-style with the proper cold air cowl induction function. Interior is original with exception of the new carpet just installed. A lot of attention and dedication was placed in this car in order to be as close as possible to the original.
