1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

This is a "BAD ASS" 68 Chevelle SS 396 that has had a recent frame up restoration, done in "Show Quality" Midnight Blue Metallic, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, slick as glass, at time of restoration had new cowl hood added, new tinted windshield and back glass, side glass is original softray tint in excellent condition, all window stainless trim looks like new; as well as drip rail moldings, new weather stripping and window felts, new correct bowtie side view mirror, new door handles, grill, grill moldings, fender eye brows and headlight bezels all look like new, new front bumper, new 396 side markers, new SS body side moldings and wheel well moldings, taillight bezels and tail panel moldings are new, re-chromed rear bumper.

Factory black interior, factory dash in very good condition, factory gauge package with roller tach, updated with tach and shift light mounted to column which is more visible, factory AM/FM radio which has been disconnected - has AM/FM/CD stereo with remote nicely mounted in glovebox, front and rear speakers, new headliner, new front and rear door panels, new arm rest and bases, new front and rear seat covers, factory front and rear seatbelts, original center console in very good condition, new carpet, deluxe floor mats and sill plates.

Under the hood the original motor has been replaced with a rebuilt 454 approximately 450 horse, Edelbrock AirGap aluminum intake, Brawler dual feed carb, full MSD ignition with 6AL box and billet distributor, chrome valve covers, K&N breather, updated with 100 amp 1 wire alternator, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and 7 blade clutch fan, factory AC, power steering, power front disc brakes, set of Hooker ceramic coated long tube headers into 3 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back, this strong running 454 is backed up with a A833 Chrysler Hemi 4 speed with Hurst Competition Plus shifter, 12 bolt posi rear with 373 gear, Hotchkis adjustable upper control arms, boxes lower control arms, Hotchkis front and rear springs, new fuel tank and sending unit.

Rides on a set of "REV" Megnum 17x8 up front with 215/55/17 and 18x8.5 out back with 235/55/18
