Classic Car Addict is excited to present this 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The 1968 Chevelle received an all-new sculpted body with tapered front fenders and a rounded beltline. The car adopted a long-hood/short-deck profile with a high rear-quarter kick-up. The black interior features factory optional bucket seats, console with floor shifter, upgraded 3-spoke factory-style comfort grip steering wheel, Kenwood stereo and under-dash mounted Autometer oil pressure and water temperature gauges. A three-spoke steering wheel fronts the original instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, 8k-rpm tachometer and is surrounded by auxiliary readouts. The odometer shows 41,191 miles; actual mileage is unknown. The car left the factory wearing a two-tone Palomino Ivory over LeMans Blue Metallic paint. The Chevelle is enhanced by a set of chrome Cragar SS wheels wrapped with Cooper Cobra Radial GT raised white lettered tires staggered 235/60R15 front and 275/60R15 rear for a confidant muscle car stance. Front suspension is a-arm with coil and shock. Has a new master braking system with vacuum pump. Stopping power is provided by front power disc and rear power drums. Under the SS hood is a 307 V8 small block Chevy engine that has been stroked and is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Upgrades that include an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold topped with an Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor, chrome Chevrolet logo open-element air cleaner with bowtie wingnut, black Chevrolet logo valve covers, chrome water pump and fan pully, power steering, chrome alternator bracket, and headers the breath out through rumbling dual exhaust with turndowns.
